Karen Pippin
Karen Pippin
is Director of the Local Government CECH-UP Program, a
school based program that helps middle school youth
understand how their local government works. She works with
University of Missouri Extension Specialists to provide the CECH-UP Program to middle schools throughout the state.
Prior to her current position, she worked as a Professional
Developer for the Teachers’ Academy for Math and Science
based in Chicago, Illinois.
In addition
to her duties as Program Director for the CECH-UP Program,
Karen serves on the Department of Elementary and Secondary
Education Service Learning Advisory Board.
Karen
received her Bachelor Degree from Southeast Missouri State
University and her Masters Degree from FontBonne
University.
